I got up around my normal time and J kept sleeping. I pussyfooted around the office and worked up a blog entry and did some computer work. I had my usual breakfast after J awoke then did more computer work. We prepped our computers and left in the Jeep around 11:50.

We went to the Kneader's in Highland hoping to have lunch and use their Wi-Fi, but they were closed.

We went to the Smith's across the parking lot to use an ATM and to pick up a few things.

We went to the Del Taco by I-15 for lunch around 12:40. J got two crunchy tacos and I got three soft tacos, and they were all just 39¢ each — what a bargain. They didn't have Wi-Fi, but we had brought our USB sticks so we went online through the fast Verizon Broadband Access signal. It was faster than the Wi-Fi I used yesterday near Timp Tire! I uploaded the blog entries and did some other things online then did some computer work. We left around 3:20.

We returned to the RV around 4:00 and I made a batch of coffee concentrate in the Toddy Cold Brew System. I did some computer work before making diner.

We had dinner around 5:45 of Bertolli Chicken Florentine & Farfalle and Texas Toast. We left in the Jeep around 6:15.

We headed towards Cascade Springs and stopped at a moose jam. Cars were parked along the road and people were looking down at a moose cow and calf. The moose weren't in a good position to photograph them, so we left.

We took the road towards Mill Canyon Spring and found a great "meadow" covered with low red and orange oak trees/bushes (left). The clouds went orange from a wildfire to the west, and I'm quite happy with the image. It was created from five exposures to capture detail in the bright sky and the dark foreground and then combined by hand in Photoshop.

We returned to the RV around 8:05. I downloaded the images I took, downselected them in Capture One (C1), then process an image for the blog.
