We got up around our normal time and I had my usual breakfast. I did some computer work then we prepped our laundry and computers to go. We left in the Jeep around 9:30.

We drove out towards Cascade Springs and went by some nice patched of red and orange maples. We stopped to photograph some up close that were in the shade (left).

We headed back to the Alpine Loop and went to the Sundance ski resort around 11:15. J had a nice AT&T signal and could check her email on her iPhone and I had a marginal Verizon Wireless signal and could check my voicemail.

We continued down the Alpine Loop then took US-189 to Orem.
We went to the Clean Spot Laundry in Orem around 11:40 and started our laundry.

Then we went to the La Brioche Bakery, a Panaderia Argentina, practically next door for lunch. There was a limited lunch menu, and we both got a Sandwich de Milanesa ("A typical sandwich from Argentina. Comes with lettuce, tomato, ham, cheese and a breaded steak called 'Milanesa.'") J went online through their Wi-Fi network and I watched the Spanish-language channel on the TV. I don't know much Spanish, but it was interesting to watch the lively talk show. Our sandwiches arrived, and J wasn't too sure about the "Milanesa" meat that was like a really thin Wiener schnitzel. She liked the sandwich much better without it, and I enjoyed it. The fresh-baked sandwich roll was delicious! After I finished about half of my sandwich, I went back to the Clean Spot Laundry to put our laundry in the dryers. I brought my laptop back to the restaurant and went online after I finished eating.

We went back to the Clean Spot Laundry around 1:10 to take our clothes out of the dryers. After we prepared the laundry to take back to the RV, I took it out to the Jeep then we both took our laptops to the nice lounge area of the Clean Spot Laundry to continue using the Wi-Fi from La Brioche Bakery. I downloaded the latest version of the software for our Garmin eTrex Venture HC GPS using Internet Explorer under Windows Vista running via Parallels on my MacBook Pro so I could try to install it directly on the GPS instead of using the Garmin WebUpdater because some people on the Gamin support forum recommended that. (There isn't a Mac version of the direct software installer.) We left around 3:10.

We took I-15 north to get back on the Alpine Loop near Highland.

We returned to the RV around 4:25. We folded and put away our laundry, and I selected some items to donate that I hadn't used in more than a year to help make room for the new thermals from Cabela's. I tried to use the direct software updater for our Garmin eTrex Venture HC GPS, and I couldn't get it to stay on long enough to run the updater. Surprisingly, after trying to power it on one time, it was able to locate enough satellites to fix its position. In other words, it's back in operation.

We had dinner around 6:35 of rotisserie chicken from Smith's, rice pilaf, and fresh strawberries. We left around 6:15 in the Jeep.

We headed back towards Cascade Springs and stopped to photograph some large patches of red and orange maples on a hillside. Some interesting clouds were moving in, so we waited. The clouds lit up spectacularly at sunset, and we were both able to get some really nice shots (left). :)

We returned to the RV around 8:00. I downloaded and downselected all of the images I took today then did some computer work.
