June 12, 2010, a Saturday
Parker (K2), Colorado, USA
— Sat at The Majestic Gallery
I got up around my normal time and had some of the LavAzza Qualita Rossa Coffee that E&SilJ (that's J's daughter E and son-in-law J's) brought back for me from London. I made lunch to go and left by myself around 8:50 in the Jeep.
There was light rain on the whole drive.
I reached The Majestic Gallery in Idaho Springs, Colorado, around 9:50, in plenty of time for the 10:00 opening time. The Majestic Gallery is a co-op gallery where I display some of my work, and each of the 33 members sit at the gallery once a month to "run the store." I put out more of my work to replennish items that had sold, then I did some computer work.
I had lunch around 12:20 and did more computer work. There was a fair amount of traffic through the gallery for a cool, rainy day. I think the high was about 47°F (8°C). I closed up the gallery and left around 5:20.
It rained most of the way down to the Denver metro area, and the traffic was light.
I went to my storage unit to return the hard drives that I used for backups.
I returned to the RV around 6:35.
We had dinner around 6:45 of leftover Spicy Shrimp and Chicken from Carino's.
After dinner, I worked up a blog entry. Then we watched the documentary Plagues & Pleasures on the Salton Sea on DVD. There were some fascinating, and humorous, interviews with residents who live around the Salton Sea.
