Parker (K), Colorado, USA
— Happy New Year! Grilled steaks for SJ&DilK, and J will be in Audubon Magazine
Grilled Cheesy Potatoes
- 4 cups frozen O'Brien potatoes with onions and peppers (from a 24-oz bag)
- 1 tbs vegetable oil
- 1/2 tsp seasoned salt
- 3/4 cup shredded Cheddar cheese (3 oz)
I had lunch around noon. I sprayed the backs of our two new area rugs with Super Grip Clear Coating, a spray-on non-slip coating, while they were hanging outside on a fence. Then I placed the area rugs face down in the RV to dry with one on the sofa and one on the bed. We left at 12:40 in the Jeep.
We went to the One Stop Coin Laundry in Parker to do several loads of laundry. J dropped me off and went to do some errands. I started the laundry, then cleaned up some notes on my brain (my Palm Treo 755p). We returned to the RV around 7:40. J found out that one of her images will apear in Audubon Magazine as part of their first Audubon Magazine Photography Awards. Her Crowned Plover will appear in a spread called Caught in the Act. I did some computer work, then watched an episode of Desperate Housewives on DVD with J. I put the area rugs back in their usual location face up, and the Super Grip Clear Coating really works! It's so nice to have the area rugs stay in place without a separate non-slip layer!
