— Lunch with SJ&DilK
I had my normal breakfast then looked at near-term travel plans. J thought we were trying to pack in too many things. We left around 10:10 and ...
Walked around the neighborhood. It was the first time I had been out to get some exercise in quite a while, and it was good to get out! J headed back before me.
I returned to the RV around 10:50, and we reworked the travel plans. We left in the Jeep and ...
Went to SJ&DilK's (J's Son J and Daughter-in-law K's) around noon for lunch. SJ had just returned from a shopping trip to King Soopers with GS (granddaughter S, age 3). I started a load of laundry, then we had a "picnic" of fried chicken tenders, chicken wings, jalapeño poppers, mashed potatoes with gravy, Food Should Taste Good Multigrain chips, Southwest chicken soup, potato soup, vegetable soup, doughnuts, and cupcakes. I really enjoyed the Southwest chicken soup and the Food Should Taste Good (what a name!) Multigrain chips. After lunch, I played with GS and GJ (grandson J, age 4.5) by carrying them around upside down by their ankles and then just on my shoulders because they're getting heavier and I was getting pooped. I played a spellling card game with GA (grandson A, age 8.5), then he showed me and J how he draws The Scream by Edvard Munch. The screamer reflected Munch's painting while the surroundings were only loosely based on Munch's and showed GA's interpretation.
We returned to the RV around 3:05. J left almost immediately to go grocery shopping and I took a nap — the kids had wiped me out! After the nap, I started to process RAW images from the end of last year through Capture One (C1) to adjust exposure and white balance and then create TIFF files. J returned and I started to work up a blog entry.
We had dinner of leftovers around 6:20. I had a slice of J's quiche and J had the Mandarin orange chicken and rice. We split a piece of German chocolate cake and I had a slice of banana bread.
After dinner, I finished the blog entry and worked up another. I did some computer work before going to bed.
