Parker (K), Colorado, USA
— Cleaned up the RV and spent time with the grandkids
I had my normal breakfast while prepping the RV to move. We left around 8:55 with me in the RV and J in the Jeep.
We went to SJ&DilK's (J's Son J and Daughter-in-law K's) to do some major cleaning of the RV. J started defrosting the freezer and I helped carry things in to DilK's freezer. Then J used a steam cleaner to clean the carpets and I stayed out of her way by working on my computer inside the house. DilK took GJ (grandson J, age 4.5) and GS (granddaughter S, age 3) out for some special time so J and I could have some with just GA (grandson A, age 8.5). We left in the Jeep around 11:45 and took GA.
We went to Good Times for lunch. I had a Mighty Deluxe Cheeseburger combo, J had a Mighty Deluxe Burger and small fries, and GA had a root beer float. GA wasn't particularly hungry, and J has a rule that the grandkids get to eat what they want, and that's what he wanted.
We went to the Parker Recreation Center around 12:15 for GA to use the batting cage for the first time. He really enjoyed it, but got really tired by the time our half hour was up.
We returned to SJ&DilK's and I washed the refrigerator and freezer shelves before we put our stuff back in the nicely defrosted refrigerator. I started to wash the outside of the RV around 2:00. The grandkids helped me, but mostly they just sprayed each other with the hose. I did a quicker job than usual, and finished around 3:25. I went inside and hung out with the kids, and got some nice cuddle time with GJ and GS. :) We left around 6:25 and ...
Returned to K's where I leveled the RV and plugged us back into their electricity. I booked some accommodations for our time in the Philly area while J had popcorn for dinner.
I had dinner of lunch stuff around 7:25 then worked up a blog entry. J went to bed early because she was so tired from all the day's activity. I worked up a second blog entry then went to bed.
