Lansdale, Pennsylvania, to Parker (K), Colorado, USA
— Flew back to Colorado
J and I awoke around the same time this morning. We went to breakfast around 8:10. We started with fresh fruit (strawberries, grapes, honeydew mellon, and canned peach wedges), then we each had cheese omelets with whole-wheat toast and OJ. I had coffee and J had her usual tea. After I settled the bill, we returned to our suite and finished packing up. We checked in for our flight online and paid for our one checked bag. I worked up a blog entry then did some computer work. My mother came around 11:20 and we visited for a bit before we all left around 11:35.
We went to KA's to pick up her and the kids (MA and JA) to take them ...
To Applebee's for lunch. I had a Pick 'N Pair of Chicken Tortilla Soup (soup of the day) and Three-Cheese Chicken Penne, and J had the Oriental Chicken Salad. The soup was excellent! We all split a Triple Chocolate Meltdown for dessert.
We returned to KA's, and I played some Wii Mario Kart with MA and JA. Then I played Wii bowling with MA, JA, and my mother. We said good bye to my mother, then KA took J and me ...
To Philadelphia International Airport (PHL) around 4:20 for our US Airways flight to Denver. J remembered to take her iPhone out of her pocket as she went through security this time. We picked up a hot pretzel, a Philadelphia specialty, and a bottle of water shortly before getting to our departure gate. I read some more of The Number of the Beast by Robert A. Heinlein while waiting for our flight to board. We boarded the A321 and sat in seats 24E and 24F (middle and window) near the rear of the aircraft. We took off at 6:17.
It took quite a while for the flight attendants to reach us. We just got drinks instead of purchasing some food. I had Clif Bars for dinner and J had an apple and some Ritz crackers with cheese.
We touched down at Denver International Airport (DEN) at 7:51 (9:51 EDT). We picked up our checked bag, then met JP who gave us a ride "home."
We returned to the RV around 9:30. After bringing in our bags, I left in the Jeep.
I took the Jeep to Extreme Auto so they could work on it tomorrow, and JP gave me a ride ...
Back to the RV. I unpacked a few things then went to bed.
