July 10, 2009, a Friday
Stone Mountain Provincial Park (Summit Lake) to W of Stone Mountain Provincial Park, British Columbia, Canada
— Alaska Highway Day 3: Rain and Office Work
When I awoke in the morning, I thought it was raining so I turned over to catch some more Zs. When I got out of bed, it turned out that the "rain" was actually the small stream going by the RV. :) We got ready to go explore, and it started raining for real.
We explored a bit in the rain and came across some woodland caribou, including a young one, but no stone sheep.
We came back to the RV around 9:30 for breakfast. I worked on setting up this blog site. We left in the RV around 11:30.
We got to a nice boondocking spot just to the west of Stone Mountain Provincial Park and set up camp. I worked on setting up this blog site some more. I selected some images to submit to a photography contest. The rain started coming down hard around 4:40.
Dinner at 6:00 of meatloaf, three-cheese potatoes, and greenbeans.
Finished selecting images to submit to the photo contest. Worked on setting up this blog site.
